I really could use some help in trying to figure out a problem with my left rear brake light/turn signal.
With the headlights off when I turn on my left blinker the rear light is off the dash indicator is on and the front light is on, non flash. When I use the brake lights the left rear does not come on.
When I turn my head lights on the left rear is dim. When I then turn on the left signal the left rear turns off the dash indicator comes on and the front light is on and non flash.
The right signal works fine. Could anyone help me figure this out? The bulbs look fine. _________________ 1977 Type LT Camaro

Thank you Pat but the bulbs all work. I checked them first. I would not have posted this request if it was something simple. _________________ 1977 Type LT Camaro

Jim
Check the left rear socket to make sure it is grounded. |

I found someone to fix it for $20.00. It ended up being a short in some wiring in the back and a flakey signal flasher. Thank you for the advice though. _________________ 1977 Type LT Camaro
